Wildwood Park, Thousand Oaks

Wildwood Park is a great place for horses and people to enjoy! There is a map located at the entrance to the trail. The park is open to hikers, bicyclists and horse riders alike so be aware of others when you are out. There are several trails accessible from the main entrance for advanced and less experienced horse and rider. The advanced trails are narrow, cross water and may have bikers coming at them so be cautious. It is located off of Lynn Rd at the end of Los Arboles.

Happy Camp Park, Moorpark

Happy Camp is located just outside of Moorpark city limits off Walnut Canyon at the end of Broadway. This park has beautiful trails that go for miles. There is both a designated path (wider and smooth for bike riders and fire trucks) and a more rugged path. If you choose the rugged path under the oak trees you'll find a natural spring about 1-1.5 miles in so make sure your horse is prepared to cross water!
